Surfing is a wonderful sport. Getting into water and riding on waves is a great experience. I have personally tried many different beaches and pools to get the best experience of surfing. I practice a lot in surfing and have noticed the most important thing that is not good in all the famous surfing spots. The following beaches that I am going to are not famous beaches and you will not find much crowd there but if you look at these beaches you will find that the waves are best for surfing. The first place that I have experienced best is Honolulu, Hawaii. You must have heard that Hawaii is a dead place. But there are still some places where you can take the pleasure of surfing. This surfing spot is not a famous one but the waves are awesome. And you can surf there without any mess with full peace. There are very little locals who know about this place and go for surfing.
The second secret place is Lanuza, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. This place is totally a secret place. It is basically used for competitions. This place is on an island and to reach there it takes four to five hours from the nearest airport. For the people who know about this destination it is one of the top surfing places in the country. There you will find ten surfing spots and if one surfing is too crowded then you can also change the spot. In this town you will not find a five star to stay because the town is too small but the people are friendly and can help you a lot. It is recommended that you go there at the time of November to January. In these months the waves are awesome.
The third best place for surfing is Oahu, Hawaii. This place is also far off from the place in which you reside in Hawaii. So reaching that place is a challenge but once you reach there the award that you will get is much more than your traveling pains. You will get unending high tides regularly trying to touch the sky. It is best if you go there in summers as the waves there reach to its peak.
Last but not the least is Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Here the water is so cold that you will find ice at some points in the water. It is basically a challenging place for surfers. The first thing is because if the cold water and the warm water will meet it will create a tide and second is due storms which create high tides. If you like to take challenges and a daring person then this place is best for you.
For learning to surf the best sports are beaches of Portugal, France, Spain, Ireland, and Canary Islands, beaches of Costa Rica, California, Hawaii or Brazil.
